DIY RUSTIC INSPIRED TABLE CENTREPIECE

Hi everyone! This weekend it was my turn to host our monthly family dinner. So, naturally my mum oversaw the cooking and I was responsible for setting the table, and as most of you will agree, if you want your table to look elegant, refined and complete, a stunning centrepiece is key!I knew I wanted the centrepiece to suit the style and vibe of the event; natural and relaxed. So I popped into my local Hobbycraft store to pick up a few bits. I came across these beautifully patterned glass drinking jars, that could very easily be transformed into rustic inspired vases. I purchased two glass drinking jars, jute twine and a pair of gold mercury tealight holders. I removed both lids along with the straws, and glued the jute twine around the rim of both jars. To finish I added sprigs of lavender and a few twigs. I placed the tealights in the holders as well as dotting a few tealights around the centre of the table, and that was it! Sometimes the simplest centrepieces can create a significate impact, and this DIY did just that at a super low cost!
